Famous Jamaican singer Tony Rebel ,will possibly face a hefty lawsuit when he is summoned before the Supreme Court on May 7, 2014. It is believed that the singer is being summoned to supreme court over copyright breach.
The person suing the singer is music composer, Jah Wayne. He is suing Mr. Tony Rebel and also his company Flames Production Incorporation Limited for copyright breach relating to the production and composing of the 1992 "Going Home rhythm" that was released by Tony Rebel under the title "La La Bella".
Jah Wayne accused Tony Rebel of broadcasting, distributing, selling and publishing without identifying him, Jah Wayne as the composer.But Tony Rebel has denied all these accusation in a attempt to have the case dismissed.
