He dissed Blak Ryno calling him a 'batty mechanic', and called Ninjaman an old time artiste. While delivering his lyrics in similar fashion to his mentor-turned-rival Ninja Man, Gully Bop had the audience at his mercy as he belted freestyle after freestyle.  He also took shots at Alkaline and Black Ryno.

BUJU LEAVES PRSION THIS YEAR

Atleast there is some good news in the music industry as it relates to our most decorated reggae-dancehall icon Mark Myrie more famously known as Buju Banton. The entertainer's attorney, Charles Ogletree has pointed out that the dancehall deejay may be released from prison this year. Attorney Ogletree expressesed his happiness with the latest developments surrounding the case.

The US Appeals Court has granted the deejay’s request to present oral arguments regarding his
efforts to obtain a new trial. However, no date has yet been set for the lawyers to appear before the Appeal Court.

Buju Banton is currently serving a 10-year sentence on drug-related charges after he was arrested at his South Florida home in December 2009 and charged with conspiracy to distribute five or more kilos of cocaine.

After two trials the entertainer was sentenced in a Tampa, Florida court.
Buju Banton has maintained his innocence and pleading that he was he was entrapped by the United States government.

Kevin Mcglynn, 53, was held without bail Friday at his arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court for dropping off three terrifying letters at the pop superstar's Lafayette St. apartment, the Daily News has learned.

A 53-year-old homeless creep was arrested for stalking and harassing pop superstar Rihanna by hand-delivering eerie letters to her SoHo pad, the Daily News has learned.

Kevin Mcglynn was allegedly caught on video surveillance on on three occasions this month delivering the unsettling missives to a Rihanna employee, according to court records.

In the twisted letters, he “repeatedly called her a b--ch,” and threatened to “bum (rush) in her apartment,” according to his criminal complaint.

He also allegedly sent at least four letters to her in California, authorities said.

“The nature of these letters (is) confusing. They all do indicate a personal relationship, as I indicated before, that simply does not exist,” Assistant District Attorney James Vinocur told the judge.

Mcglynn went to her luxe Lafayette St. building at 6:30 a.m. and again around midnight on July 8, sources said.

His third visit was around noon on July 11, but he was not arrested until about 6 p.m. Thursday. Cops tracked him down after he dropped his benefits card — with his name and address on it in Rihanna’s SoHo building.

It  would have been good to call Dr. Dre Hip-Hop’s first billionaire these last couple months, but the celebrations had begun a bit early. 

Although Apple did buy the Beats from Dr. Dre's company for 3+ million dollars, Dre only owns 25% of the company. 

Once the deal was signed,  Dre would only walk away with roughly $800 million. Then after legal persons and the state comes in and gets their portion, Dr. Dre will only be left with approximately $480 million from the sale of the company. Quiet as its kept and despite the fact the the government taking half of his money, being left with $480 million is not a bad consolation prize.

Adding  the proceeds from the sale to Dre’s existing assets, he is estimated to be worth $800 million.

In an interview Queen Latesha  stated:

"The male artistes are not elevating females and telling them to take their kids to school. All they are saying is oral sex and walk like a dog. This Throat song has females sucking off bottles in the dance and that is not a good look as a real veteran female dancer. I have been in the business over 10 years and I feel a way. When the world sees videos of females sucking on bottles and call it dancing, it will stop us from getting work...I go to Europe and Japan to teach dancing at workshops and nobody will book you for walking like a dog or sucking on a bottle in the dancehall. I am fed up with these songs which are degrading females, and I don't want my music to travel in a direction of slackness, but I just wanted to flip the script to show Gage how it feels and how it sounds when he speaks to females in that manner...Dem hurry come up selector and artiste yah need to do better. As for the females, none of these artistes that tell you to perform these acts will want to wife you, they don't want a woman who does the disgusting things they tell you to do. Vybz Kartel to sue police commissioner

Dancehall recording artist Vybz Kartel has signaled his intent to sue recently retired Jamaican police commissioner, Owen Ellington over comments he made on a local television show in April 2014, claiming the deejay was the head of a gang responsible for over 100 murders island wide.

According to reports made on Monday, the polarizing entertainer, who was convicted of and given a life sentence for the 2011 murder of 'Clive Lizard' Williams in March, intends to a multi-million dollar civil lawsuit, through his legal team before the end of this week. His lead lawyer, Tom-Tavares Finson confirmed the lawsuit with ZIP FM Monday afternoon.

Ellington, who had been the head of the Jamaica Constabulary Forcesince 2009, told the Television Jamaica (TVJ) show, All Angles, "Vybz Kartel led a gang which was responsible for over 100 murders, and we have been telling the country this for a long, long time. Every time we moved against this gang, we were criticized, we were condemned and we were accused of being malicious against this individual. In fact, if you look at his defense, what was his defense? That there was a conspiracy on the part of the police."

Though there has been no evidence presented to support Ellington's comments, they caused a stir locally, with many wondering why the ex-commissioner would make them after Kartel's conviction and subsequent sentencing just weeks earlier. Tavares-Finson himself called the comments out of line, saying they were an attempt to prejudice Kartel's appeal.

Elyjah Marrow is currently in police custody after claiming to accidentally kill his 19-year-old roommate.

According to police reports, Morrow was playing with a handgun when and it accidentally went off, the bullet then hit his roommate Daryus Johnson who later succumb to his injuries while in the hospital.


Elyjah Marrow has since been arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter, possession of firearm in the commission of a felony, and reckless conduct.


He was also booked on a marijuana possession and trafficking charge.

During an interview with the Jamaican star kiprich revealed that the account which talks about sexual encounters with fellow entertainer Danielle D.I is a fake account.

He stated:

"This is a fake Twitter account, my real account is Kiprich Nuh Behaviour. I wouldn't guh mek another twitter account fi talk things bout people. A just some mischievous people, me and D.I just do a song and video called Hear The Pree, and we bring out the concept in the video. When a man a guh call people name dem thing deh nuh good, me wouldn't do that. That's not my style...The last time dem target mi Facebook a try get money from people and now this. Some people just idle and need something to do. Get a grip, get a hold a yu life man. I am a private person, I am more the sneaky type.

Anonymous sources sent several photos and video of  Vybz Kartel to selected websites and several of these photos are that of guns, large amount of cash and sexual acts as well as photos of his common law wife Tanesha “Shorty” Johnson. The self proclaim "Worl Boss", dancehall star is not only serving a life sentence in Jamaican prison, but he is now under a lot of scrutiny after some damaging data allegedly taken from his Blackberry Torch smartphone was leaked.

One photo of particular interest have gain attraction on social media as the photo is allegedly  said to be Vybz Kartel preforming a form sex with a female from behind. The photo did not show anyone face but fans and most of the general public identified the tattoo on the male as that of the self proclaim Worl’Boss. This could be damaging to the deejay’s image since he had done several songs condemning such sexual acts whether with a male or female. There are also graphical images of satanic symbols and even one showing a headless body rumored to be that of the murder victim.

The game ended with a double from Neymar propelled Brazil to a 3-1 come back victory over Croatia in an entertaining start to the FIFA World Cup 20-14. Brazil have won the opening game of their own World Cup, with a victory that was slightly fortuitous and nowhere near as convincing as the scoreline suggests. Capleton Ignore Gay Protest

It was reported last week that protests were held for the removal of Jamaica dancehall artiste Capleton from a concert at the BB King Club in New York. Capleton’s management team says they were not bothered about the protests by gay rights’ lobbyists at a club in New York last weekend.

The demonstrations came on the heels of a rally by gay rights lobbyists for the withdrawal of reggae artiste Queen Ifrica from a concert in New York recently.

Capleton was scheduled to perform at the BB King Club and Grill, in New York last Wednesday night. On the day of the event, the Jamaica Anti-Homophobia Stand (JAHS) issued a release calling for the cancellation of the artiste’s performance.

“The protest calls for the cancellation and condemns the promotion of and profiting from anti-gay hateful music here in NYC where LGBT lives and rights are valued.”

The release also stated, “Jamaican reggae performer Capleton is known for his songs that call for LGBT people to be killed and makes comments from the stage calling for LGBT people to be killed. Capleton signed the Reggae Compasionate Act agreement (an agreement to not promote hatred and violence) in the middle of 2007 and broke the agreement on 12/24/07.

ZJ Wah Wa Update

Held in US For Lottery Scamming

J Wah Wa was arrested earlier this month while visiting Florida and is currently jailed in the Miami area. Federal authorities in the United States have now charged Jamaican disc jockey, ZJ Wah Wa, in an ongoing investigation into a lottery scam that targeted elderly victims in the Dakotas and elsewhere. Attorney, Herman Frank Rubio, who represented the Jamaican for his initial court appearance in Florida, says he has agreed to be transferred to North Dakota.

Deon-ville O'Hara is among 26 people who in the last year have been indicted by federal grand jury in North Dakota. He is charged with three counts, including conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, and money laundering. Each count carries a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison.

O'Hara and others allegedly ran a lottery scam in Jamaica that induced elderly victims throughout the United States to send millions of dollars to them to cover fees for lottery winnings. O'Hara would travel to the U.S. to pick up money from victims, prosecutors said.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg To Appear in Court

Facebook founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg has been ordered by a judge in southern Iran to appear in court to answer complaints by individuals who say Facebook-owned applications Instagram and Whatsapp violate their privacy.

It was stated that the judge also ordered the two apps blocked. It is highly unlikely that Zuckerberg would appear in an Iranian court since there is no extradition treaty between Iran and the United States. Some Iranian courts have in recent years issued similar rulings that could not be carried out.

Another Iranian court last week had ordered Instagram blocked over privacy concerns. However, users in the capital, Tehran, still could access both applications around noon Tuesday. In Iran, websites and Internet applications have sometimes been reported blocked but remained operational.

Facebook is already officially banned in the country, along with other social websites like Twitter and YouTube as well as their mobile apps. However some senior leaders like Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif are active on Twitter, and many Iranians use proxy servers to access banned websites and applications.

A highly respected cop recently disclosed that their investigations has led them to suggest that the body of Clive 'Lizard' Williams was cremated shortly after the August 16, 2011 murder took which took place in Vybz Kartel Havendale home.



He stated:

“We believe Mr. Palmer used his influence and resources to have the deceased Clive Williams body cremated,” the police source said. “The then operator of the funeral home that we believed the cremation took place has been missing for several months now and we believed she might have been murdered.”

He also added:

“Lizard’s sister and other close relatives they want closure also because they do not have a body to bury and that is just sad,” the cop added.
 

THE ALLIANCE CAMP SENDS ENTOURAGE TO CONFRONT ARTISTE

                             3 Star Denies allegations

3 STAR, a member of the gully side camp  has denied all allegations that he was slapped in the face by men representing the alliance camp after he attempted to block Alliance deejay Iyara from entering the stage for a clash at a recent stage show.

and 3 STAR have release at least three songs each targeting each other adding fuel to the fire recently ignited between the gully side and alliance camp.

Bounty Killer has since released three songs at aimed at Movado, Movado is yet to respond with a direct counteraction. Sources have claim that the artiste will release something which will address his issues with his mentor.

Base on research information it seems that the feud between Mavado-led 'Gully' and the Bounty Killer-led 'Alliance' has escalated even further between the two camps at an event held  in Olympic Way, St Andrew, on Thursday night.

Since recently the two artists, Mavado and his former mentor Bounty Killer have been at odds with each other and even voicing songs aiming at each other.

It was alleged that Bounty Killer was booed off stage on Thursday night at All Stars Thursdays at Olympic Way and things got to a near violent level when 'Gully' deejay 3 Star was onstage at the event."
