Want to know how you can save up on your electricity bills during summertime? All you need to do is hang a wet towel on your window panes. The moisture from the towel will prevent the heat from wafting in and cool down the temperature of the room.

Install white window shades or mini-blinds. Mini-blinds can reduce solar heat gain by 40-50 percent.

Close south and west-facing curtains during the day for any window that gets direct sunlight. Keep these windows closed, too.

Install awnings on south-facing windows, where there’s insufficient roof overhang to provide shade.

Hang tightly woven screens or bamboo shades outside the window during the summer to stop 60 to
percent of the sun’s heat from getting to the windows.

Consider exotic infill's in your windows, a new technology that fills the space between panes with krypton or argon, gasses that have lower conductivity than air, and which boost R-values.

Tips for your A/C

Provide shade for your room A/C, or the outside half of your central A/C if at all possible. This will increase the unit’s efficiency by 5 percent to 10 percent.

Clean your A/C’s air filter every month during cooling season. Normal dust build-up can reduce air flow by 1 percent per week.

Turn off your A/C when you leave for more than an hour.

Kim Kardashian and baby North West at Disneyland

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter North West, turns two years old today and the whole Kardashian-family is celebrating at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif.

Close friends and family members, including Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Tyga, Kourtney Kardashian and Mason Disick, were all present there to join in the celebration. Guests began arriving as early as 10 a.m. this morning before gathering at the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree just outside Theme Park. After some fun in the park and a ride on a carousel, at 12:30 p.m., there was a party with lunch and cake. There we also fun decorations and balloons that spelled out "North."


Our sources told us that some guests were told not to bring presents, we are not sure as to why this request was made but we are certain everyone had a great time. The guests all had
special passes to front of line of all rides and have escorts.

Fans have been posting pics of their Kimye family sightings at Disneyland all day. Kim wore an all-black outfit and Kanye coordinated in head-to-toe black as well. As for the birthday girl, she rocked shorts and a white tee with a cute looking face paint on her forehead.

Miss Zimbawbe's Reckless Life Exposed............

Emily Kachote, Miss World Zimbabwe, has been stripped of her title after a nude photos of her leak on WhatsApp.

The Miss Zimbabwe Trust released a statement regarding their decision to pull Kachote's title, saying that the 25-year-old beauty engaged in "immoral behavior."

They continued, "The Miss Zimbabe executive board would like to inform the nation that it has decided to dethrone Miss Emily Kachote as Miss World Zimbabwe 2015. Being in a relationship, sexual advances to anyone and any behavior categorized as immoral by the Miss Zimbabwe Trust is grounds for instant disqualification and dethronement."

The Miss Zimbabwe Trust bluntly accused Kachote of being reckless, a drunk and a liar, who does not deserve to represent Zimbabwe on the world stage.

Tendai Chirau, The Miss Zimbabwe Trust spokesperson, also had a lot to say “We wouldn’t want to have a queen who drinks and she doesn’t know what happens after – it’s the exact opposite of probity.”

It is reported that she had admitted that she might have had a picture taken with or by a gentleman called Prosper. After that she became inconsistent and we continued with our investigations until we reached this decision. On the recording – she says that she was under the influence of alcohol and she doesn’t know what happened thereafter.

Omi has proven that he is able to deliver and that he should not be underestimated. The remix of his hit single "Cheerleader" by fast-rising German producer/DJ, is now just outside the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart ranking at number 11.

The single, which was originally released in 2012, has over time, gained the appreciation of fans locally and internationally. It is a known fact that hard work and dedication pays off; this is definitely the case with "Cheerleader" Hit maker. The song has also debuted at number 1 on the France, U.K and Australia singles charts. Now, the U.S. market appears to be catching on Cheerleader holds 11th spot on the Billboard Hot 100, debuting at number 95 on the chart only a month ago.

 

Billboard.com recently touted Cheerleader as a ‘song of the summer dark horse’ saying in a recent column, “The revamped version of “Cheerleader” transforms the original track’s inoffensive bop into a more dynamic tropical burner, with OMI’s buttery warble abetting the arrangement instead of being tasked to drive it. After one listen, it’s clear that “Cheerleader” just makes sense as 2015’s Song of the Summer.”
