Dr. Dre boasts of Apple-Beats deal on Facebook

Appearing to confirm rumours of a $3.2 billion Apple buyout, Beats co-founder says Forbes' rich list has changed "in a big way".

Dr. Dre whose real  name is Andre Romelle Young, the co-founder of Beats is said to be the "first billionaire in hip-hop", according to a video featuring the producer and entrepreneur, which appears to confirm rumours of a $3.2 billion Apple buyout.

It is said to be that the clip which was since removed from Facebook and was posted by the singer/songwriter Tyrese Gibson, with the caption, "Dr. Dre on the night his deal went public ,the deal that he did with Apple valuing 3.2 BILLION!!!!" Even if 49 year old entrepreneur Dr. Dre personally profited by the entire $3.2 billion, he however would currently be placed 513th , alongside Doris Fisher, co-founder of the Gap clothing empire on the billionaire list.
